Domestic Partner Registry

Overview

The City of Eugene human rights ordinance provides for a Domestic Partner Registry, through which unmarried opposite-sex or same-sex couples who share a relationship of mutual support and commitment may symbolically document their relationship. Please note that the City’s registry differs from the State of Oregon’s Domestic Partnership program administered through Lane County Deeds and Records. An Oregon Domestic Partnership is available only to gay and lesbian couples and provides legal rights and privileges not offered by Eugene’s registry. More information about the state program can be found on the Oregon website.
