Some disabilities may not be immediately obvious, such as autism, vision loss, hearing loss and PTSD.
Living with a hidden disability can make life more challenging and, often, sympathy and understanding can be in short supply.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program strives to provide visibility to passengers with non-visible disabilities so that support can be given.
Wearing a Sunflower lanyard allows passengers to communicate to others that they may need extra time or assistance while traveling. Program participation is entirely voluntary and the lanyards are available to passengers at no cost at our Information Booth or any one of our ticket counters.
Airline accommodations should be coordinated with the airlines. Pre-Travel questions should be directed to TSA Cares.
