Work Sessions
City Council Work Sessions are held in hybrid format . Members of the public can watch the live stream or listen in using Zoom or phone options. These sessions are typically held on the following days and times:
- 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 5:30 p.m.
- 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 12:00 p.m.
- No public comment
Meetings
City Council Meetings are held in hybrid format. Members of the public may attend in person at 101 W 10th Avenue, Suite 114 in the LCC Downtown Building, Mary Spilde Center, watch the live stream, or attend virtually via Zoom or phone options. The meetings are typically held on the following days and times:
- 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m.
- Typically include an opportunity for public comment
Public Hearings
City Council Public Hearings are held in hybrid format. Members of the public may attend in person at 101 W 10th Avenue, Suite 114 in the LCC Downtown Building, Mary Spilde Center, or attend virtually via Zoom or phone options. Public hearings are typically held on the following days and times:
- 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
- Provides an opportunity for public testimony regarding the topic(s) of the hearing(s) for that date.
How to Request to Speak
Members of the public can sign up to provide public comment at Council Meetings (in-person) or provide testimony at Public Hearings (in-person or virtual) by completing the form located here on the day of the meeting.

How to Sign-up to Speak during the Public Comment Period:
- Fill out the Request to Speak form on Monday, November 27, 2023.
- The Request to Speak form will be open from 7:00pm to 7:35pm

- Those who have submitted a sign-up form by 7:35 p.m. will be added to the speaker’s queue.
- At 7:35 the sign-up will close, and the queue will be randomized and shown at the start of the public comment period.
- Speakers will be called in the order they appear on the list.
- Public Comment is limited to 90-minutes total, and speakers will typically have up to 2.5 minutes to speak, though the presiding officer may adjust the speaking time as needed.
- Once the 90-minute limit has been reached any remaining speakers on the list will not have an opportunity to speak.
- Written comments can be submitted to City Council by sending an email to mayorcouncilandcitymanager@eugene-or.gov
