Industrial Corridor Community Organization

Overview

The specific purposes for the ICCO is to promote the virtues of the Industrial Corridor, to promote a clean, safe, and scenic environment in the Industrial Corridor, to promote healthy economic growth and development of the Industrial Corridor, to work for the establishment of new, and maintenance of existing, local services, programs, and community facilities which enhance the welfare of the Industrial Corridor, to communicate, advise, and consult with county and city governments on all matters affecting the Industrial Corridor community, including zoning, metro area planning, development, housing, traffic and transportation systems, utility delivery systems, water and sewer systems, and any other matters affecting the economic vitality and livability of the Industrial Corridor community, to encourage neighborhood involvement in local governmental functions and decision-making, and to engage in any lawful activity for which the Industrial Corridor Community Organization may be organized under Oregon law.
