Employee Assistance Program Services
The City offers Employee Assistance Program Services through two different providers to better help meet the varied and specialized needs of our benefitted employees. There is no charge to members for any eligible EAP service.
Public Safety EAP (for Sworn Fire Professionals)
You protect the public, but where can you go for support? All career professional firefighters now have free access to a Public Safety EAP that provides resources to address the unique needs and stressors that impact first responders.
Offered through the Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) and Special Districts Insurance Services (SDIS), the Public Safety EAP is a confidential counseling and support service staffed by trained professionals 24 hours a day to assist public safety personnel and their families.
Employees and their immediate family are eligible for up to 6 counseling sessions per year with mental health professionals that specialize in fire and EMS issues, along with a wide range of additional benefits such as performance coaching, personal assistant services, and unlimited web-based access.
