The use of city-owned facilities, including the installation and removal of street and pole banners, is regulated by the City of Eugene Public Works Department to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
The City of Eugene partners with the University of Oregon to manage over 360 pole banner locations spanning over 23 zones throughout the greater downtown Eugene and university areas. Three street spanning banner sites are also available within the downtown city core. Corporate sponsor recognition (e.g., company name and/or logo) is allowed on banners but may not occupy more than 25% of the total banner area and must be subordinate to the promotion of the event or activity advertised. Advertising outside of corporate sponsorship is prohibited.
Both street and pole banner sites are available for short term rental to recognized community groups and/or non-profit organizations who are promoting a specific event or activity that is open to and for the general public benefit. For more information regarding the Banner Program and availability of specific site locations, please call (541)682-4800 or email StreetBanners@Eugene-or.gov.
