Airport Advisory Committee

What We Do


The Eugene Airport Advisory committee develops recommendations for airport staff by providing an ongoing citizen perspective and review of airport capital improvement projects, environmental issues, airport finances, air service development and changes to airport administration policy. Members have an initial term of two years, and can be reappointed another term.

The AAC meetings are open to the public and occur on the third Wednesday of each month beginning at noon.  Meeting dates are subject to change due to scheduling conflicts.  Please see the calendar below for dates and times.  Meetings are hybrid.  You may join in person  Airport Terminal Mezzanine located on the second level of the terminal building or contacting airport staff for the meeting link.  For full details on meeting Decorum Guidelines please see the link below.

Tina Guldberg, Chair – University of Oregon

Tina joined the University of Oregon in September, 2018 as the senior director, industry partnerships.   She leads and executes strategies to enhance university-led industry, innovation, and economic development partnerships with key business and regional leaders.  In this capacity, she engages in the development of new and strategic university initiatives that align with innovation and economic development goals.  She brings experience from Ford Motor Company as a product development engineer, a research engineer in the Sustainable Design and Manufacturing program at Georgia Tech, and as the associate director of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute where she spent the last 15 years developing strategic partnerships for the Institute. She is also graduate from the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering and currently serves as the inaugural board chair for Onward Eugene and on the Technology Association of Oregon and Oregon Bioscience Association’s advisory boards.

Cedric Rudd, Vice Chair – Public Community

2022 – 2024

Cedric RuddCedric Rudd is the Director of Sales & Marketing at EVEN Hotel Eugene where Cedric executes local, regional and national marketing and branding initiatives to drive sales within existing and prospective accounts. Cedric utilizes revenue management techniques by profitably negotiating room rates and function space commitments to increase the hotel's financial performance.

Cedric has worked with reputable hotel chains such as Marriott and Hilton, to include Renaissance Chicago Hotel, Home2 Suites and the former Red Lion of Eugene. Cedric also worked at the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Membership Development where Cedric displayed excellent ability to attract new clientele, recover former partnerships and retain current members of the organization through strategized marketing campaigns. 

Cedric studied Business Administration at DeVry University – Chicago Loop where he gained specialized qualifications that have been recognized and respected throughout his career.

Cedric is passionate about food and cooking, enjoys wine and traveling, spending time with friends and family. Cedric moved to the community eleven years ago and is proud to call Eugene home.    

Piotrek Buciarski,  General Aviation

2019-2024

Piotrek BuciarskiPiotrek Buciarski is Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Summit Bank in Eugene. Piotrek previously worked as senior director of marketing and sales for TrackTown USA. He has an MBA in sports marketing and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Oregon. A former pole vaulter, Piotrek is a three-time All American for the Ducks and represented Denmark in 2004 at the Athens Olympic Games and IAAF World Championships in Edmonton, Paris and Helsinki.Since earning his private pilot certificate from Friendly Air at the Eugene airport fifteen years ago, Piotrek can often be found in the airport pattern flying his Mooney M20E with his wife, his five year old daughter and three year old son. Piotrek also serves on the KLCC Public Radio Foundation board of directors.

Liz Dahlager – Travel/Tourism

Liz Dahlager is Vice President of Market Intelligence with Mereté Hotel Management. Mereté operates 6 hotels in Lane County and 18 hotels in the Pacific Northwest. She is responsible for sales and marketing and identifying strategic partnerships that meet Mereté’s long term growth goals. Liz has more than 20 years of experience in hospitality with major brands as well as independent boutique hotels. Liz received her BA from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  She was recognized by Marriott International with a Global Sales Leadership Award, is a Certified Hospitality Revenue Manager and holds a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management from Cornell School of Hotel Administration. Liz has a long history of working with travel and tourism partners across Oregon to increase tourism dollars to local and regional economies. She is passionate about sustainable travel, preserving outdoor recreation for future generations and the value tourism brings to a community.
Liz also serves on the Springfield Chamber Board of Directors and Chairs the Economic Development Committee. Since relocating to the Willamette Valley from Portland in 2009 she has served on the Springfield Rotary Board, Willamette Valley Pop Warner Board, LCC Hospitality Management Advisory, and the Eugene Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council. Liz resides in Eugene with her husband Josh of 25 years, her two children, and her two beagles.

Courtney Griesel– Business Community

2022 – 2024

Griesel_BioHeadshotCourtney Griesel is the Oregon Community Relations Manager for Sierra Pacific Industries. She holds a Masters of Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and Bachelor of Science in Planning, Public Policy and Management from the University of Oregon. Courtney began her career in public sector service and non-profit global consulting. She served as the City of Springfield, Oregon, Economic Development Manager, focusing on traded-sector industry support and growth, land development, and public private partnerships before joining Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) in 2022. Her recent transition from public service to direct support of SPI, one of the largest private forest management and wood products manufacturing firms in the US, has provided an exciting opportunity to further support an industry critical to local Oregon communities and the broader region.

Natalie Inouye – Travel and Tourism

Natalie Inouye  Vice President of Destination Marketing (1)Natalie Inouye is the Vice President of Destination Marketing for Travel Lane County where she oversees comprehensive destination marketing and sales for the leisure, convention and sports markets for the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region. She grew up in Oregon, graduated with a tourism-related degree from the University of Oregon and has worked in the visitor industry here in Lane County for over 30 years. She has served on boards and action groups in service to our community, most recently including the Willamette Valley Visitors Association, Oregon Scenic Bikeways and Oregon Tourism Studios (Florence, McKenzie River, Oakridge, East Lane County).

Rhonda Reed - Travel Tourism

Rhonda Reed - Eugene Airport Advisory CommitteeRhonda Reed is the Travel and Accounting Manager, and a Tour Group Leader for Trips Inc. Special Adventures®. Trips Inc.™ arranges and provides group travel packages for adults with various intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has led over 40 groups to domestic and international destinations around the world. Rhonda believes traveling is an opportunity for personal growth, to learn about and appreciate other cultures, and make new friends.
Rhonda has worked in the travel industry for more than 30 years. She has a certificate in travel agency operations from Lane Community College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon. Rhonda is also the co-founder and manager of a small 501c3 non-profit dog rescue, and a certified dog trainer   from Animal Behavior College. Rhonda lives in Eugene with her dogs, parrot and turtle.

Joshua Rickert – Airport Tenant

Joshua M. Rickert is a commercial pilot and flight instructor. As the Director of Lane Aviation Academy with Lane Community College, Joshua has extensive knowledge of aviation, the Eugene Airport, and the challenges facing both. He also has previous backgrounds in finance, business, and computer science.

Mark Stringfield, Chair – Public

Mark StringfieldMark Stringfield is the President/Owner of Gene Stringfield Building Materials.
Born and raised in Eugene, Mark graduated from North Eugene High School and went on to earn a degree in Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon.
Mark has worked at the lumber company since he was sixteen years old. Throughout the years he as coached many different sports teams around the Eugene area as well as officiating basketball games at different levels.
Mark and his wife, Kathy have 3 children who are all graduates of the University of Oregon. They are avid Duck fans and attend a wide variety of home games.

Brittany Quick-Warner – Business Community

Brittany Quick-Warner - Business Community Airport Advisory CommitteeBrittany Quick-Warner is the President and CEO of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce. Prior to this role she was the Eugene Chamber’s Director of Business Advocacy. Brittany moved to Eugene in 2012 from Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri, twice. Once with a degree in atmospheric science which has turned out to be just as helpful as the weather app on her phone, only $30,000 more expensive. Her master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management has been slightly more useful as she can successfully navigate a city budget committee meeting and has made it a few years successfully managing a nonprofit.
In 2012, Brittany and her husband started a boutique production company and a photo booth company in their renovated 1973 VW bus. Nine years later both parts of the company have grown and expanded.  Brittany has the pleasure of serving on several nonprofit boards that do absolutely amazing things for our community.

Shad Turner - Airport Tenant

Shad TurnerShad Turner is President of Lawrence Air Service.   Shad started his aviation career in 2006 with SkyWest Airlines after retiring from 3M. Along with his  wife Cheryl, they  have 7 children and 6 grandchildren.   After raising 3 kids of their own, they adopted 4 siblings prompted by the "Forever Family" program.   Shad purchased Lawrence Air Service in 2010 .  In 2012, Shad purchased Eugene Flight Center and added 2 aircraft to their fleet until it sold 2019.   Shad currently sits on the Aviation Academy Board at Lane Community College, as well as the Marcola School District Board.  He coaches the high school football and track teams.  Shad and his  family lives on a 40-acre ranch in the beautiful Marcola Valley.  Additional hobbies include gardening, fishing and hunting, and summers are spent in SE Alaska fishing and building a container home lodge.
